Tripp Donnelly

Tripp Donnelly is a technology entrepreneur with nearly two decades of experience establishing, operating and growing businesses in the digital industry. He is considered a specialist on matters of online reputation, brand management, search engine marketing and social media.

Tripp Donnelly is the Founder and CEO of REQ, a digital marketing and brand management company headquartered in downtown Washington, DC. Founded in 2008 as RepEquity, REQ provides major brands, national organizations and growing companies with digital marketing services, online reputation management, and advocacy solutions. The company is a pioneer in online reputation and brand management, developing proprietary technologies and tradecraft to shape industry standards and connecting brands to the right customer-advocate audience with real-time capabilities.

Under Tripp’s leadership, the company has received three rounds of investment, won more than 75 industry awards, and acquired two companies. And REQ’s quick growth has been noticed. The company has been named to the INC. 500, Deloitte Technology Fast 500 and Future 50 lists recognizing the fastest growing companies in America. But it’s not just about growth. Both the Washingtonian and Washington Business Journal have named REQ among DC’s Best Places to Work.

Before REQ, Tripp served as a Senior Vice President at InPhonic and as a Presidential Aide in the Offices of Communications, Legislative Affairs, and Presidential Advance at the White House.

Washington Business Journal has listed Tripp among its 40 Under 40 Business Leaders and SmartCEO Magazine named him Technology Innovator of the Year.

Tripp holds degrees from Georgetown University and the London School of Economics. Outside of the company, Tripp is a Fellow of the Aspen Institute and member of the Young President’s Organization (YPO).

In his day-to-day work, Tripp tries to approach others with the idea that anyone can learn something at any time. “The same value in learning that applies to children applies to adults,” says Tripp, who is also a father. “Something you learn today can change the rest of your life. I believe our culture at REQ is driven by that boundless thinking and learning.”

He is an avid outdoorsman and active in several charitable organizations, including the Children’s National Medical Center, Washington Nationals Dream Foundation, and Sibley Hospital Foundation.
